Description:
Three-part chest of drawers standing on profiled feet.

Above it, behind a cylinder lock, a three-part desk with a leather-covered middle section that can be set at an angle on the writing tablet, each with a drawer to the left and right. Above it an 11-piece interior compartment, veneered in mahogany, maple and others. Drawers with fine fillet band inlay all around. Middle door as well as the outer drawers decorated with fine marquetry . Depiction of three ancient Greek scenes. Outer drawers open by secret mechanism. Behind the central door, an open compartment that can be removed. Behind it three hidden drawers.

Top consisting of two doors and a central hinged compartment.
Inside, a six-piece interior compartment. The middle door, as well as the flanking drawers, also inlaid with ancient Greek scenes. Two drawers behind the door. Outer drawers open by a secret spring mechanism and each with a further secret compartment.

The upper end is formed by the hatbox door, flanked by two full columns of Corinthian order with brass capitals and brass bases.

Condition:
Excellent restored condition, shellac hand polish, worm free.
