Interesting facts:
Display cases are two-piece salon and dining room furniture. The lower part can be a chest of drawers or a half cupboard with two doors.
Both pieces of furniture must have clear similarities in terms of construction, choice of wood and the stylistic elements used. If there are differences in this respect, it must be assumed that we are dealing with a "Mariage", i.e. an object originally composed of two different pieces of furniture.
The object presented here is flawless in this respect and without any doubt.

Woods such as cherry, walnut and mahogany were particularly popular for Biedermeier furniture, but also very vividly grained woods such as ash or, in this case, birch.
Polishing with shellac really brings out the flamed grain of the wood.

Condition:
Restored condition ready for living.

This piece of furniture is no longer available. Comparable objects in quality and condition are priced between 5000,-€ and 5500,-€.
