Extendable country house table

France
solid cherry tree
19th century

Dimensions:
H x W x L: 77 cm x 89 cm x 197 cm (+ 101 cm)

Description:
Turned, downward tapering legs of solid cherry wood.
Table frames mortised into the legs and fixed with wooden dowels. One drawer at the front.
Extendable on one side, extending the table by one metre - the extension is supported by a fold-out leg. Absolutely stable!

Worth knowing:
This table is absolutely versatile. When pushed together it comfortably seats 6-8 people, when extended it comfortably seats 10 adults.
This table is well suited for families with children because the oiled surface is totally easy to clean and very robust against dirt and liquids.
The solid cherry wood looks both elegant and rustic at the same time. The beautiful, naturally grown patina of the wood brings cosiness and warmth to your dining area.

Price:
This table is no longer available. I have similar tables, some of them still unrestored, in stock. When restored, these tables are priced at around 3500,-€ to 4500,-€, depending on the finish.
