Biscuit

Biscuit porcelain is a white, unglazed porcelain that was and is used for busts and reliefs.
It has a certain similarity to white marble, but is nowhere near as robust. For sculptors, bisque is only used to a limited extent, because it is less weather-resistant than marble and can therefore only be used indoors.

In the photo you can see a figure made of bisque porcelain mounted on a marble base.
