This chest of drawers exists exactly once. It was made around 1730 in Württemberg. The maple and walnut inlays are very typical for the region and were certainly made according to the special wishes of the client at the time.
Machines did not exist at that time. Everything was made with simple tools. The carpenter must have been a true master of his trade, because all the inlay work fits together perfectly and the drawers still run smoothly today, almost 290 years later.
Respect for this great craftsmanship!
