Description:
Four-drawer chest of drawers with exceptionally vivid birch veneer pattern.
The piece of furniture stands on a semi-circular skirting board and has a total of four drawers. The drawers are made without crossbars, but are visually separated from each other by black contrasting crossbars.
The top drawer has two large, closed compartments on the outside and five smaller integrated drawers with pull knobs made of leg.
The extremely grain-rich birch veneer pattern, mirrored several times, runs continuously from the bottom drawer to the top panel.
The rounded pilaster strips lead to the sides of the piece of furniture, which are also carefully veneered. A hollow moulding below the top plate creates a harmonious overall appearance.
Contrasting inlaid keyhole frames of ebony.
Original locks, the keys are copied.
Condition: Restored to living room condition, shellac hand polish. All drawers run cleanly and smoothly. The locks work perfectly.
