Description:
Compact piece of furniture on pointed legs at the front and block feet at the back.
Three drawers flanked by two baluster-like half columns.
Rhombic key plates.
The front of the top drawer folds down to reveal a writing surface with a 10-drawer interior behind. We refer to this as a writing chest or chest of drawers.

The front, sides and top are made of solid birch wood. The fronts of the small drawers in the interior are veneered in birch burl. Thick saw veneer.

Condition: Restored and ready for daily use.
