Description:
Super rare Atmos clock in the style of the Neuchâtel pendules from the 18th century. The clock was produced by Jaeger LeCoultre under the name "Style Neuchateloise" as a tribute to the Swiss clockmaking tradition.
In addition to the red model with gold painting offered here, the clock was also available in green and black, each with colourful flowers. On the back we see the painter's signature: A. WILD.
The dial behind domed glass consists of silvered cartouches on a gold background. The numerals are superimposed and protrude from the surface. This can be clearly seen in one of the photos. The imprints "ATMOS" and "SWISS" can be seen below the XII and below the VI.
The calibre 528 movement can be seen through the side windows.
Serial number: 204938
Year of manufacture: 1965
The clock is offered complete with wall bracket and detailed original operating instructions.
Condition:
This Atmos runs perfectly and reliably. Minimal signs of age and wear to the paintwork. Overall very desirable condition.
The red colour of the console is slightly darker than that of the watch. Presumably the clock was temporarily set up without the console so that it is less darkened when stored in a cupboard and protected from sunlight.
Due to the curved shapes and the associated different refractions of light, the minimal difference in colour is barely noticeable and, in my opinion, not disturbing.
The colours of the photos have not been adjusted or "embellished". The condition is exactly as pictured.
Price: This rare Atmos clock has already been sold. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for a similar model!
