Description:
Three-piece piece of furniture from the Transition period, i.e. the transitional period from Baroque to Classicism.

The chest-like base has three large drawers and a tableau pull-out above them. This additional work surface makes the piece of furniture usable as a sideboard.
On top of this, receding quite a bit, is the two-part top. Immediately above the chest is a wide drawer and above that we see a central door, each flanked by a row of four small drawers, one above the other.

Typical for the Baroque period, the piece of furniture is elaborated with many movements. The base frame has several curves, the pilaster strips are rounded. The entire furniture front is discreetly concave, the head of the furniture is semicircular with a hollowed profile.
The fittings and the design of the marquetry are already entirely in the style of classicism. On the door and drawers are geometric panels in diagonally veneered walnut, set off by a maple thread inlay from the outer area, which is veneered in plum. Corresponding inlays are also seen on the sides of the piece of furniture.
