Description:
This unusual piece of furniture can be transformed from a cabinet to a secretary in just a few simple steps.
When closed, we see a kind of bedside cabinet with three drawers.
The leather top can be moved forwards, which automatically raises a secretary section attached to ropes with weights.
The secretary part has six drawers.
All handles and fittings are made of brass, the tapered square legs stand in brass sabots.
Absolutely rare piece of furniture with an extraordinary pulley mechanism.
Condition: Restored and in perfect working order.
