Description:
Ash veneered on softwood.
Front in closed state with three drawers below, the writing flap and a head drawer above the flap. Above is the single-door top, the so-called "hat box".
Typical regional thread inlays on the entire furniture front and also on the interior.
The interior consists of ten drawers, one of which is a secret compartment and can only be opened by a secret mechanism. Centrally, we find an open compartment with half columns attached to the side. A mirror attached to the back visually extends the column aisle.
Handles and keyhole surrounds in bone, four handles in wood with mother-of-pearl inlay.
Beautiful continuous and perfectly mirrored grain pattern over the entire furniture front.
Condition:
Restored to living room standard, free of worm infestation. Shellac polish.
