Description:
Beautiful pair of candlesticks from the so-called Epoque Charles X around 1840-1850.
Tripod with patinated lion paws standing on a three-sided indented base. The fluted shaft is also patinated. The gilded elements are elaborately decorated with palmette and flower friezes. At the top we see the candle holder with a loosely attached spout typical of the time.
Condition:
Excellent condition. Newly gilded, newly patinated.
