Description:
Stepped case standing on a plinth.
Straight box with round top. Dark green colour finish. Fluted centre section.
Painted dial. Hand-sawn and hand-filed brass hands.
Cleanly executed movement with approx. 30 hour power reserve. Movement and striking mechanism are arranged one behind the other by means of three iron plates. Striking mechanism with stork's beak and lock disc. Pulley block weight drive with wooden pulleys also in the movement.
Condition:
The case has been gently cleaned. The traces of age and the craquelure in the colour finish were deliberately preserved. The movement has been dismantled and overhauled. It runs and beats reliably.
