Gold-plated brass
1980s
Dimensions: H x W x D: 27 x 17 x 16 cm
Description:
The Atmos Prestige from Jaeger LeCoultre was produced in a strictly limited edition of only 3000 pieces. It was available from 1981-1988 and each clock has its own number. The model offered here bears the number 0948 of 3000.
The operating instructions and the original transport box are present.
The design of the Atmos Prestige, like the Jubilé and the Opera, is based on the early Atmos models by Reutter from the 1930s. The heavy screws on the outside of the rotating pendulum and the slim, upright rectangular design of the case, which is similar to that of the Atmos K1, are particularly striking.
The five-sided glazed case provides a clear view of the clean movement. The blued screws contrast beautifully with the golden metal. The glass of the front door bears the original imprints "ATMOS" and "JAEGER LECOULTRE".
Condition:
Beautiful and authentic condition of the case with light traces of use typical for its age. The transport box also shows the usual signs of wear.
The movement runs perfectly and reliably.
Price: 5600,-€
