Description:
Armchair made of solid mahogany on slightly tapered brass knobs in a restrained classicist style.
The exceptionally high backrest has a volute-like finish that is repeated in the front ends of the armrests.
The two-part seat consists of an upholstered base firmly attached to the frame and a loose cushion.
The lower part of the seat, the armrests and the backrest are upholstered in plain black fabric, the Q2 Baronesse Lorea 770 from Höpke Textiles. For the front of the backrest and the seat cushion, we opted for a Q2 Baronesse Marcella 780 with floral patterns.
Condition:
Restored condition. Shellac hand polish. Newly upholstered, newly covered.
