Description:
Rectangular wooden box veneered in dark stained bird's eye maple. Outer edges in light contrasting maple.
Brass inlaid key plate and two further rectangular fields.
Rounded lid.
Opening the box reveals a slanted writing surface covered with (original) fabric.
Below the writing surfaces we find two larger compartments for storing papers or the like.
At the very top there are several compartments for ruler and pens as well as jars for ink and grit.

Condition:
Perfectly restored and polished with shellac. Authentic, very good condition.
