Description:
Antique travelling clock of the "Capucine" type.
The front view of the clock is dominated by the large dial with black Roman numerals.
The time is indicated by blued so-called Breguet hands, the alarm time is set by a simple golden hand.
Above the dial, there is another small hand that regulates the speed.
Below the dial are the two winding holes of the movement and the striking mechanism. The alarm clock is wound by a cord above the case.
The clock chimes on the half and full hour and repeats the hours again at just after full time.
The clock is crowned by a large bell with a handle and four pinnacles on the corners.
The sides and the back of the clock can be opened by means of full-surface doors to reveal the movement. On the right side there is a small lever to start the hour repeater.
Condition:
Restored condition. The movement has been completely disassembled and cleaned down to the last single part. The clock runs perfectly with all its functions.
