Description:
Straight-lined chest of drawers standing on pointed legs.
The three-sided piece of furniture is decorated with elaborate marteries. The keyholes are bordered like flowers. The fire shading gives the blossoms a three-dimensional character.
Similar marquetry is also found on the sides and top of the chest of drawers.
The pilaster strips are adorned with woven bands. The drawer fronts are also articulated by frames inlaid in plum with maple thread inlays.
Condition:
Restored condition. The found condition was heavily battered, so there are visible restorations and veneer repairs. The condition of the piece of furniture is clearly visible in the photos.
