Description:
Two-leaf piece of furniture standing on curved legs.
All-round curved and cambered corpus. Veneered in plum wood with predominantly diagonally laid grain patterns.
The surface divisions of the drawer fronts are absolutely typical for the region with the circular veneer around the key plates. These, as well as the handles, the sabots and the frame decoration, are cast in bronze and fire-gilded.
The top plate, also veneered, follows the shape of the corpus, is veneered to correspond with its surface design and has a flower-like central design element highlighted by maple thread inlays.
Authentic piece of furniture from the middle of the 18th century.
Condition: Refurbished and in good everyday condition.
