Jaeger LeCoultre - Atmos clock in silver-gold bicolour version

Switzerland
Nickel-plated and gold-plated brass
Year of manufacture 1978

Dimensions: H x W x D: 22 x 18 x 13.5 cm

Description:
The Atmos V calibre 526 was offered in numerous different versions. The classic Atmos V - i.e. gold case, white dial ring and Arabic numerals - is considered the most frequently produced model of all.
The Atmos offered here in the original bicolour version with nickel-plated case and gold-plated movement, on the other hand, is extremely rare.

The clock was produced under the Ref. 5852 in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was offered in the Atmos catalogues from 1979-1984. However, it was only available in small quantities, as the taste of the time was primarily for all-gold clocks.

The original bicolour Atmos has various degrees of gloss in the nickel plating. Pay attention to the rotating pendulum or the pressure box cover, for example. The dial ring is not white, but also silver and matt brushed. The numerals and hour markers are black on the front and gold on the sides.

Serial number: 482751
Year of manufacture: 1978 - making it one of the first bicolour Atmos produced for the 1979 sales catalogue.

Condition:
Very nice, authentic case condition with slight signs of wear commensurate with age. The movement is absolutely accurate and reliable.

Price: 3300,- €
