Description:
A four-tier piece of furniture standing on pedestalled block feet with ebonised, free-standing full columns with brass bases and brass capitals.
The lower three drawers are veneered in cherry wood and fitted with handles in the form of lion's head mascarons. The slightly protruding upper drawer is supported by the columns and is veneered in burl wood.
The top panel is surrounded by a discreet inlay of dark wood and corresponds in material thickness to the blackened skirting board at the bottom of the cabinet.
Condition:
Refurbished condition with a shellac hand polish. The pull handles were added in an older restoration.
