Description:
Multifunctional small table in mahogany veneered on oak.
Round, tapered legs set in brass sabots.
Frame with period-typical fluting in the outer area. Two narrow drawers with interesting interior divisions. Two further drawers arranged one above the other; one folds out and can be used as a backgammon or chess board, the other can be set up with an integrated mirror.
Table top covered with original leather, surrounding brass gallery.
Pull knobs and key plates also of brass.
Rare and unique piece of furniture.
Condition: Restored to a living room standard. Shellac hand polish. Also beautifully worked on the back.
